I am going to repeat this: the digital releases of Sonic Adventure DX never had the Game Gear games. When Sonic Adventure was originally released on PSN and XBLA back in 2010, there was a DLC to upgrade it to SADX. People found that the the DLC doesn’t add the Game Gear games for whatever reason.

The Steam version, while partially based off of the 2004 PC port for the sake of optimization, was based mostly off of the XBLA version of the game. This version of SADX never contained the unlockable Game Gear games, period.

As far as I’ve seen, the Steam/XBLA/PSN versions of SA:DX never had the Game Gear games to begin with. It doesn’t matter to me, but to anyone who enjoyed playing the GG games on SADX on the Gamecube and the PC back then will be disappointed.
