D&B® Rating. What is the D&B Rating? The D&B Rating is a system that measures a firm’s size and composite credit appraisal, based upon information from a company’s interim or fiscal balance sheet and an overall evaluation of the firm’s creditworthiness.
What is Triple B rating?
Triple-A is the highest rating that can be given, and triple-D is the lowest. Anything below a B, however, is viewed as pretty risky. The ratings are broadly divided between “investment grade” and “junk”. The lower the rating, the greater the risk that the borrower will not be able to pay back the money.

Significance. A rating of BBB represents the lowest investment grade bond rating.
