Wat is zone 0?

In ATEX zone 0, ofwel Ex zone 0, is er een groot tot permanent risico op een explosiegevaar, omdat er (bijna) altijd voor langere periodes een explosiegevaarlijk gasmengsel aanwezig is. Om een Ex zone te classificeren als ATEX zone 0 is er meer dan 10% van de bedrijfsduur een explosieve atmosfeer aanwezig.

Wat is de functie van de ATEX 114 norm?
