Hoe dikte kabel meten?
De kabeldikte is de oppervlakte, (niet de diameter) van de kern van de kabel, zonder isolatie. Om de oppervlakte te berekenen is de formule: diameter² x pi (3,14) / 4. In de onderstaande lijst kun je zien wat de diameter is van de kern per kabeldikte in mm2.
