Wat heeft de NAVO gedaan?
De Noord-Atlantische Verdrags Organisatie (NAVO) werd in 1949 opgericht met als doel de veiligheid en vrijheid van de aangesloten landen te garanderen en wereldwijd stabiliteit te bevorderen. De organisatie realiseert deze doelstelling door de inzet van politieke en militaire middelen.
